Note that my pages are functional rather than beautiful: They are all simple HTML, with a minimum of graphics, so they load quickly, even via slow telephone lines. Moreover, they put no requirements on the type of browser, or the dimensions of the browser window you are using.
Particularly annoying in web-pages are:
- Animated advertisements
- Pop-up windows
- Hotlinks whose sensitive area is unclear. (e.g. in a YouTube page you can indadvertently activate a link by clicking on white space)
- A large picture at the top of the page, putting most of the informative text outside the window. Moreover, the picture loads late, making the page jumping up and down.
